Pennant Parade from our house to yours

Hello.

Our challenge this week from Less is More is houses.

I really need to get cracking on some Christmas Cards.  With this in mind, I decided to use these Christmas trees from Stampin' Up!'s Pennant Parade as my houses and the little birds from Aviary were perfect to populate them.

I typed my sentiment on the PC using Scriptina for Merry Christmas and Footlight MT Light for the second part.  The bird on the bottom tree is stamped directly on the card base using Elegant Eggplant Stampin' Write Marker.

I stamped the trees using Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green, then cut out.  The bottom tree is popped up on a Dimensional.  The top tree is glued directly to the card base with the little robin popped up on a Dimensional.  I inked him using my Stampin' Write Markers too using Chocolate Chip and Real Red.

Thanks for joining me today.  We've had a busy week in our house.  Starting with an enjoyable trip down to Glasgow to see Michael McIntyre.  Very funny man.  Then with visitors.  Back to normal as much as we can be at this time of year!!

Hope you are keeping calm in the run up to Christmas.  x

Lucky you seeing Michael McIntyre Aileen - and I can see you've picked up a bit of his comedy style when you talk about remaining calm in the run up to Christmas! What a sweet card you've made - I like that the birds live in the decorated trees! Vicky x

A couple of not exactlies here Aileen...not exactly a house and not exactly one layer either... but it's a gorgeous card apart from that!
