Scallop Tag Hello

Hello!

I just had to have a go at a Scallop Tag Topper card.  There's lots of tutorials on the net for this.

I've made a bright and cheery Hello card using I Am Me Designer Series Paper.  I used Perfect Pennants for the sentiment details in colours matching the papers.  The banners were cut out using the matching framelits.  I added decoration behind the Scallop Tag Topper detail using Simply Stars.

I sent this card off to a lovely customer who had just recently purchased the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.  I hope it gave her some inspiration!

Now go change the World!

Last wednesday we were at the graduation of my step son.  Very proud to see him receive his degree!

This is the card I made for him.  He is very keen on travel and is interested into going into renewables energy.

I used this map image from I Am Me Designer Series Paper out of the last catalogue.  Teamed it up with a mat of Real Red on a Basic Black card base.  I then made a banner using another paper from the same sets and the Banner Framelits.  The sentiment is from Something to Say, as are the stars. I used a couple of circle punched to create a mat for part of the sentiment and the Word Window Punch for the other.  The Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack was perfect to punch out the stars. To finish off the banner I added a couple of black candy dots.

It was exciting to see all the young graduates setting out on their new paths and adventures.  Perhaps they will change the world.
A very pleased Michael and proud Dad.

Life is Good

Hello Crafty Peeps!

I hope you have had a lovely weekend.

I'm joining you today with a one layer card for Less is More which has a fun challenge for us this week - adapt a finger print!

For my card I've gone rather simple and made a flowery border using Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana and several fingers!  I then used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to add detail.  I thought this sentiment fit the card perfectly.  It's from one of the new photopolymer stamp sets - Project Life Remember This.  Life is good if you can create a card using finger prints I'd say!

So I'll leave it there from a rather inky fingered crafter!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.  xx

Watercoloured Summer Silhouettes

Good Evening Folks!

I mentioned that I missed the Less is More water colour challenge but decided to make a card for it anyway.

I stamped a strip of water colour paper with Summer Silhouettes in Rich Razzleberry, Blackberry Bliss, Wild Wasabi, and Hello Honey.  I then used my Aqua Painter to spread the inks around. Once dry I used Versamark and White Embossing Powder for the blossoms.  I cut the strip up and placed onto Brushed Silver card.  The card base is Wisteria Wonder.  I added a little label in Whisper White using the Corner Rounder Punch.  The sentiment on the label is from Petite Pairs and the Congratulations is from For My Family.  Both were stamped in Rich Razzleberry.  I tied a little knot ribbon to finish off.

It took a few attempts to get an effect I liked but was well worth it and lots of fun too.

It's been a strange day today.  Last day of term and last day of primary school for my daughter who will move up to the Academy after the summer.

Here she was on her first day of Primary School.  Where have the years gone?

Work of Art Thank You

Well it's finally here.  The new catalogue for 2014/2015!

And what a work of art it is!!

Loads new products to drool over.  Check it out for yourself.

You can click here to browse through the catalogue.

My card is also a Work of Art.  No I'm not blowing my own trumpet, that's the name of this new stamp set!

I made my little thank you card for my Virtual Hostess Club using the new In Colours.  The "Thank" is cut out in a banner style and popped up.  I matted it onto gold foil and Always Artichoke card stock.  A Basic Rhinestone gives a little sparkle to the heart.

I can't express just how easy it was to make up this little card.  In no time at all you can have your own little work of art!

I'll leave you to get yourselves a coffee and have a proper look round the catalogue.  However before I go I'd like to say a big hello to Sid.  Thanks for choosing to follow my little blog.
