Timeless Talk Giggle Greetings

Face the music and dance is our theme for Less is More this week.  I had a look through my stamps and came up with this.

Timeless Talk and Giggle Greetings.

I love this doggy chasing his tail but for my card he's so excited he's dancing!

I used Stampin' Write Markers to colour directly on the stamps just where I wanted the colour.

Our little bundle of fur is currently lying on my feet as I type this.

"It wasn't me!!"

Enjoy your weekend.

xx

Making Spirits Bright

Fancy a tipple?  This is one for Christmas.  Not sure I'd like a candy cane in my fizzy but it makes a fun image.

I masked off a square and sponged with Baked Brown Sugar. Then stamped the image from Making Spirits Bright in the same.  I coloured my image using the new blendabilities.  To add a little sparkle I've used Gold Glitz Dazzling Details on the ribbon.

I will really need to step up Christmas card making as I'm woefully behind.  Thankfully this was super fast so could be an easy card for making loads of the same.  The sentiment is joined to the image making it even easier!

How are you getting on with your cards?

I've only got 1 place left in my Stamper's 6 club starting in October.  This is the time to get your Christmas stash and have loads of inspiration for your cards!  Drop me an email if you want to jump on board.

This fits perfectly with the less is more challenge this week which is one layer with a cue word of beverages.

We have a mid term break this weekend.  The children are off thursday, friday and monday.  Unfortunately my teenage son is suffering from a cold so I'll be a nurse maid to him and taxi driver for my daughter who seems to have organised a different friend and activity for each of the days!

Take care.  xx

A Little Kindness Goes A Long Way

A little kindness goes a long way is the super sentiment in the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.

It's perfect for my thank you cards and gift for my Stamper's 6 in my Virtual Hostess Club. I like to put a little something extra into their bags from me.

I currently have 2 places available in my new club starting October.  Let me know if this is something of interest to you.

For my cards and little boxes I've used Park Lane Designer Series Papers. I love that Stampin' Up! write the colours on the back of the packs so it's easy to match up your card stock, ink and embellishments. It was fun to stamp directly onto the designer paper using Kinda Eclectic.  The butterflies were punched out using Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly. I tied up my boxes using Linen Thread.

I've a lovely new follower - Kim - welcome and I hope you visit often.

We have a wet day today after a lovely weekend.  Yesterday we went to a park in Aberdeen and chanced letting our dog off the lead.  She's quite bold and isn't great at coming back.  Sure enough she chased the ball, caught it and took off into the distance.  A streak of black fluff. After having a good run she finally swung back round towards us.  There's no chance of catching her, she's just too fast.  But that didn't stop us saying to the kids to go after her.  Well they need some exercise too!!

Have a good day.  xx

Welcome to your New Home

Here's a simple super quick but sweet New Home card.

I used two new sets from the annual catalogue.  They are very special sets because they are in the hostess section.  I love so many of the new hostess sets this year.

I cut my card so that the front was shorter than the back.  Then stamped this funky tree and birdies from Nuts About you.  I then stamped the house on the inside from Life's Adventure.

There's a super deal on until the end of October for Hostesses.  If you have sales of £200 then you receive a free stamp set - Good Greetings.  Sentiments are always a boost.

I have 3 places available on my Virtual Hostess Club starting in October.  I'm sure if you've looked at the Autumn/Winter catalogue you'll have a wish list as big as mine!  The Hostess Club is a great way of gradually building up your stash and you get to be hostess for one of the months. Sound good?  Drop me a line.
