Paisley Petals in the In Colours

Good morning.  I've been having a play with this years In Colours and wanted to show how lovely they look together.

I started with this gorgeous bloom from Paisley Petals stamped in Island Indigo.  I sponged Lucky Limeade around the center and then using my Blender Pen I picked up the other colours directly from their ink pads - Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party.  I then cut out the bloom using my Paper Snips.

The card base is Island Indigo and I added a border along the top with Pool Party and Calypso Coral.  The top edge was punched using Scallop Edge Border and the Calypso Coral strip was stamped in the same ink with the leaf stamp.

The rectangle panel is Pool Party with Whisper White.  I stamped Happy Birthday in Calypso Coral using For my Family stamp set.

Attached my flower off one edge and added Pool Party Designer Printed Brads.

I followed the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  At least my entry will be in on time this week!

Here's a photo of the inside.  I wanted to cover the backs of the brads so carried on the idea of the border from the front.

Thanks to my new followers for choosing to follow my blog.  I hope to see you popping in often and I really appreciate your comments.

I have struggled so much with that stamp set, but this is fantastic! I never would have thought to put Island Indigo with Calypso Coral but it works! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
