Rainbow Top Note

Lovely sunny day for us here so thought I'd make a bright card and join in the challenge at RUNWAY INSPIRED.  A new one for me although I've been watching it with interest.  Here's the photo inspiration -

You would certainly stand out in that dress!

So onto my card.  I had fun getting inky and went with the following colours for my rainbow - Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Elegant Eggplant and Rich Razzleberry.

I swiped stripes across my Whisper white card using a Sponge Dauber and attached to a Basic Black Card base.  My frame is half a Top Note die cut and was attached over the rainbow panel using Dimensionals after I stamped my sentiment in Basic Black.  The sentiment is from a brill hostess set Happiest Birthday Wishes.  An additional rainbow strip was added below with Brads from the Brights selection.

As I've used a die on this card, I'm would also like to enter it into this weeks challenge at SIMPLY STAMPIN which is to die for.  You only have to use one Stampin Up! image or sentiment to enter so why not give it a go.

I hope you've enjoyed looking here as much as I  enjoyed making this card.

Here's what was required to make this card -

Card - Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink - Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Elegant Eggplant, Rich Razzleberry
Stamps - Happiest Birthday Wishes
Die - Top Note
Other - Dimensionals, Brights Brads
If you would like any of the above supplies and have your order delivered directly to your door anywhere in the UK then all you have to do is contact me on ails300@btinternet.com  or 07827923123.

The weather man says we might have snow tomorrow, hope he's got it wrong! Thanks for your visit, take care and stay warm. x
