A Bit of Bling

What better time than Christmas to add a bit if bling which is probably why Mandi and Chrissie have asked for bling in this weeks challenge at LESS IS MORE

I've been having a play a few stamp sets to create this card.  I used Baroque Motifs to hang my ornament.  I stamped it in Versamark on Glossy card stock and sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds before covering it in Gold embossing powder then heat set.  The Merry & Bright is from the sentiment square in Season of Joy.  I used my Versamark pen to just pick up the part of my sentiment that I wanted and gold embossed it.  The background is sponged with Real Red, Certainly Celery and Old Olive.  The panel was attached to Basic Black then attached to a Cherry Cobbler card base.

My ornament is from Tags till Christmas.   I stamped it in Cherry Cobbler twice.  Once attached to the card, I punched out the center of the second decoration and attached it back in place with a Dimensional.  A large basic Rhinestone finishes off the center and a string of rhinestones hangs my bauble to the branch.

I hope you've enjoyed looking at my bling card today and I look forward to visiting you too. x
