These are the cards that we made at card class today using the Strength & Hope stamp set.
I love this colour scheme of perfect plum, crumb cake and pear pizzazz.
We used the stamp-a-ma-jig a lot today. Firstly the fancy flourish was positioned top and bottom in pear pizzazz. Then the butterfly was stamped in perfect plum. We then masked the butterfly and stamped the text in crumb cake over it.
A line of four basic rhinestones gives some sparkle. The sentiment - Birthday Wishes is from Occasional Quotes. It was punched out using word window and mounted onto modern label punch.
The second card also uses a crumb cake base with a mount of perfect plum. This time we made 3 tiles using the same technique with the butterfly and text stamp. These were then mounted onto elegant eggplant and placed on the perfect plum mount.
