Hello from a sunny Aberdeen!
I'm sharing my card today for the Less is More challenge which is a colour week. The ladies at LIM have got the nation all taking photos of their front doors. (What will the neighbours think!! ) As we are to use the colour of our front door.
Here's my door as you can see it's brown but as it's quite an orange brown so I've included some orange in my card. As it's due to be painted a dark brown I've also got Early Espresso in there. The touch of grey is from the step.
I decided to make a Teacher Thank You card whilst looking at my new papers - Epic Day - from the This and That Range. I know it's for my holiday journal but I couldn't resist using some of it to make up a card. I thought the letters, ruler and numbers were perfect for teacher card.
I've followed the sketch at CASe this Sketch but turned it on it's side. You can see the sketch at the bottom of my post. I started with a card base of Crumb Cake and attached a panel of Early Espresso. I then added some strips of Washi Tape. Lovely stuff to work with. Tears easily and peels off easy too! The beige Washi Tape has numbers on it. I then cut the letters from Designer Series Paper and attached them with Dimensionals. The two patterned paper banners are from the same sheet of paper. Isn't the ruler fab? I then stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral on Whisper White.
Just for your info the This and That Range is still available for purchase even though the bundle offer finished at the end of May.
Hope you had a good weekend. We visited my new nephew on Saturday and had loads of cuddles. So cute!
Take care. x
