Bloomin Marvelous Peek at Sale A Bration 2013

Hi Everyone.  How are you today?  I'm exhausted!!  What was I doing??  Shovelling snow!  Hopefully that's it for today.

I have another sneak peek at Bloomin' Marvelous from the Sale A Bration catalogue 2013. Isn't it cute?  I've teamed it up with the Woodgrain folder.  I found that it is such a deep emboss it was tearing through the Whisper White so I opted to attached it to Sahara Sand then run it through the Big Shot.  That worked super.  Have you found any problems and have any solutions?  I'd love to hear them.  I must admit my plates are really needing replaced.

I made a ribbon banner and attached the flowers and butterfly with Dimensionals.  I stamped them in So Saffron and Certainly Celery.  The sentiment is from the same set and punched out with the Curly Label Punch.

There's a few challenges that I can put this card into so here goes -

1. Addicted to CAS which has a code word of Embossing

2. Addicted to Stamps and More which has a theme of nature

3. Dynamic Duos - So Saffron and Certainly Celery

Here's a look at our snowy scene.  Taken this morning.

Thanks for calling in past.  Keep Cosy. x

Love the woodgrain texture on the white, I wouldn't have thought of that. I can't wait to see the Sale-a- Bration goodies, especially if your card is anything to go on! Thanks for playing along at CAS Colours and Sketches

Another fantastic card using this stamp set and these colors! I love the woodtone embossing. What a beautiful snowy scene, Aileen! Thanks for sharing it with us. It's just cold, cloudy and dreary here. Can't complain though. It was 70 a couple of days ago.

Gorgeous card Aileen - love the woodgrain effect on the white with the pop of colours on your flowers. Your photo made me shiver......we're right at the opposite end of the country (Somerset) but we're forecast to have heavy snow on Friday so not looking forward to that! Thanks so much for joining us at A2CAS.

Love the wood-grain embossing Aileen, and the colours and punched images are so pretty.
Your photo is fabulous too - we have snow here, but not as deep as yours. More is forecast for the rest of the week though!

Keep warm - Hugs, Sylvia xxx
