A peek at Lovely as a Tree in a snowy scene

A wintry scene for you today.  Apparently according to the weathermen we have snow on the  way.

I decided to see if I could create a scene following the sketch at CASe This Sketch.

I sponged some snow banks using Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point.  I masked a tree from Lovely as a Tree to set a lone pine in my scene.  I then stamped my sentiment from Petite Pairs in Real Red.  The Whisper White panel was attached to a Pacific Point mat then added to the Whisper White base.  Unfortunately you can't see from the photo but I added dots of glitter to the branches for a little festive sparkle.

I'm also going to enter my card into Casology which has a cue word of Winter.

I do hope we don't see as much snow as this, we have been enjoying a lovely period of mild weather.

I hope it stays warm with you too and thanks for joining me today. x

So pretty! Love the little pop of red under the blue - very effective use of non-traditional colours for a Christmas card! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week, Aileen!

A beautiful CAS wintry scene Aileen - love the Tempting Turquoise.

Although it's a bit frosty on the ground, we have had sunshine all day, so no snow (yet)!
Hugs, Sylvia xx
