Stampin Up Paisley Petals Gift Boxes

Here's some little gift boxes that I made up for my Stampers 6 ladies.  This was the last month of their current Virtual Hostess club so I wanted to make something a little special.

I'm so pleased how these came out and they weren't hard to put together either using Stampin' Up!'s Scoring Tool.  Have a closer look.

I used Early Espresso card stock and Paisley Petals Designer Papers.  I started off by making the box.

I used the 1" Circle Punch and the Word Window Punch to create the apertures for my gifts to sit in.   The top cover was cut with the Labels Collection Framelits die.  I also used the framelits to make a small label for my sentiment from SIncere Salutations stamped in Early Espresso.  I attached a sentiment tag to the front with a Brad.  The tag on the front is from Tea Shoppe stamped in Early Espresso and punched out with the Modern Label Punch.  Some Linen Thread looped through the box holds the flap in place.

I like putting a little gift into my ladies bags as a little surprise.  Is joining a Stampers 6 club something that would be of interest to you?  If it is then give me a call or e mail me to discuss further.

I thought I'd share a photo taken a couple of weeks ago when we had a little heat wave.  I was in shorts and a t shirt now its padded jackets!

This is Slains Castle just up the road from Aberdeen and only just discovered by us.  It was Bram Stokers inspiration for the castle of Count Dracula and sits right on the cliff edge.  We had a fab day here exploring and going to the beach at Cruden Bay.

Isn't this fabulous and it's right on our door step.  I did dip my toes, icy cold water of the North Sea.  Very refreshing.

Take Care. x

The gift boxes are lovely. I remember visiting that castle back in 1968 when I was at a school in Aberdeen for a six weeks stint during my training! Ancient history! Valerie
