Stampin Up French Foliage Wreath

Doesn't this large leaf from Stampin' Up!'s French Foliage make a fab wreath?  Want to know how I made it?  It was so easy.

I placed a circle of scrap in the middle of my Whisper White panel as a guide then just stamped Old Olive leaves around it, simples!  I stamped off first to give a softer green.  Then I stamped the French Foliage splodges in Rich Razzleberry around my leaf to imitate berries.  If you zoom in you should see clusters of tiny white berries aka Basic Pearls.  My sentiment is from Petite Pairs.  I needed a small sentiment to fit the middle.  I corner rounded the panel and matted it onto Old Olive then onto Rich Razzleberry.   As I was following the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, I added strips of Paisley Petals patterned paper below my panel.  (Yes ladies I'm using patterned paper again and how easy is this to use up scraps?!) I would have preferred to add another strip in the Bravo Burgundy as I do like a bit of symmetry but I ran out of card base and this card is already 6" by 6".  Never mind next time lay out your strips before attaching Lol!  My card base is the gorgeous River Rock textured card stock.

Do you think this wreath would work for christmas too?  Just swap the purple for red and add some glitter?  I think that would work perhaps with a cute little robin in the centre or a suitable sentiment.

Another lovely bright but crisp (turn your nose blue) day.  Love Autumn.  Thanks for visiting. x

Edit:  Ooops forgot to add the sketch.  Here it is.
