Snow showers and a new home

Hi all. Super quick post today.

This card is for my neice who has just moved into her first home.  I thought I would combine it with the LESS IS MORE challenge which is one layer week with a theme of snow.

So here's how I made it.  Early Espresso card base.  I then rollered with the Neighbourhood wheel (now retired) in Whisper white and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I added snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes and then using a white gel pen I added some fallen snow onto my street.

I hand wrote New Home as I thought it went with the style of the drawn houses.

We woke up to a white wonderland this morning but thankfully it was only a dusting.  Keep warm. x

Such a gorgeous card Aileen! The houses are great and I love the way you've turned them into a snowy street. Enjoy your pretty dusting of snow and thank goodness it's nothing more severe! Vx
