Merry Christmas

Good Grief I was raiding through all my Christmas stamps last night as you'll see when I list the stamps used.  My husband requested six cards to take into his team.  That's fine I thought then he said I need them for tomorrow!

I didn't have time to really play about so I took some influence from the lovely Vicky.  You can see her blog here.  I decided that for time it was best not to do 6 different cards but use the same design however I altered the embossed stamps and the ink on the sentiment just for a bit of variety.

All the card bases are Pool Party.  One of the fab new In Colours.  Each of the snowy panels are on glossy paper and the snowflakes were heat embossed with white embossing powder and then sponged with Island Indigo another new fabby colour.  Then mounted onto Cherry Cobbler card.  The baubles were also stamped on glossy paper with Island Indigo using the stamp from Tags till Christmas.  I added a Basic Rhinestone to the center.

The sentiment is from Contempo Christmas and stamped in either Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler or Island Indigo.  Then punched out using the Decorative Label Punch

I stamped behind the sentiment label with the swirl from Season of Joy.  This stamp set also provided one of the snowflake designs.  A little bow with whisper white grosgrain ribbon and silver string to finish off the card.

Here are the other designs.  It was interesting to see the different patterns achieved with all the snowflake stamps and the effect of the sentiment in different colours.

Phew made it, all were completed with insides and even a bauble stamped on the envelopes.  Time for bed then my husband asked where we had put a specific gift voucher.  Well we looked and looked, worried it had been accidentally thrown out.  Finally had to go to our beds stressed.  Then today I found it in plain sight safe and sound!  Moral - don't go looking for something late at night when you are tired!! Lol!
