Okay we have enough snow now! I'm typing this as I watch huge flakes fall. A very christmassy scene outside plenty for sledging and making snowmen but I think I'd rather stay inside!!
So it doesn't seem strange at all to still be making Christmas cards. This is for the Merry Monday challenge which gives us a sketch to follow.
I've used a Very Vanilla card base and some Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper as a background. I then made a banner and stamped with a Sentiment from Curly Cute in Gumball Green. I added a Basic Pearl at one end as the circle in the sketch. For my focal point I punched a 2 1/2" circle of Very Vanilla. Then die cut a snowflake using Snow Flurry Bigz die out of Red Glimmer Card. The third layer was added with a Dimensional and a Large Pearl added to the top.
I love how the snowflake has transformed the circle into a floral shape. This die is from the Autumn/Winter catalogue which is due to finish at the end of this month. Don't let it run out before getting your favourites.
Here's a little tag I made with the leftovers.
Well the children have arrived home from school through the wintry snowscape so best be off to make some much needed hot chocolates for a heat up.
