Stampin' Up!'s Endless Wishes

Yesterday I was playing about with Endless Wishes and my Silver Metallic Encore Ink Pad.  Have you used this ink pad yet?  It stamps beautifully.

For my card I started with Soft Sky and stamped the sentiment and large snowflake.  On some scrap Whisper White card I stamped the middle snowflake in Silver and the smallest in Soft Sky.  I then fussy cut them out and layered them up using Dimensionals.  The Basic Rhinestones fit perfectly on  the snowflake. I added a trim of Soft Sky to the bottom and created a pattern with the smallest snowflake.  This panel was mounted onto Island Indigo and added to the Night of Navy card base.  I couldn't resist playing with the Silver ink pad a little more by stamping the middle snowflake down the side.

Mmmm what else could I stamp in silver?

As we have a bright sunny day today, I think we will head out for a walk with the dog.  It's been so dark and miserable lately it's a case of grab the sunshine when you can.

Hope you are having a bright day today too. x

Celebrate The Season

It's Less is More time again and this week there is a celebration going on as it's their 200th challenge.  Wow where does the time go?

I've worked round the sentiment from Endless Wishes - Celebrate the Season.  I'm so behind with my Christmas Cards that I really need to get cracking.

This set is a delight to work with.  I love the different fonts and that you can mix and match the sentiments.  For my card I've embossed the snowflakes and sentiment with white embossing powder and added some Basic Rhinestones. The card base is Soft Sky. The front panel is popped up on dimensionals.

This really is a sweet set with lots of variations.

Best of luck ladies with your challenge this week.  Hope you get lots of entries. x

Kinda Eclectic Thinking of You

Have you had a Kinda Eclectic sort of day?

Mine's was pretty much normal, tackled my mountain of ironing and reduced it to a hill.  Will it be a mountain again tomorrow or will I be able to briefly announce my ironing is up to date??!!

Let's talk about my card instead.  I love the this soft colour theme.  We have Perfect Plum as the card base and the small butterflies with a Whisper White panel.  Soft Sky for the leaves and Sahara Sand for the border and sentiment, which is from Four You.  Elegant Eggplant gives the larger butterfly a stronger pop of colour.  It's punched out with the Elegant Butterfly punch and I've added some Basic Rhinestones for that little bit of twinkle to the body.

This was fun to make and so quick and easy to put together.  I think you could use it for lots of occasions.  Mmmm but perhaps not Christmas and I am woefully low on Christmas cards.

Hope you are much more prepared than me!

How about an early Christmas present to yourself and become part of the Stampin' Up! family?  For one week, starting today, anyone joining will receive an extra 5% cash back bonus on their december commissionable sales.  But that's not all the starter kit has been reduced by 25%.  Now that is an early Christmas present for anyone who is thinking of joining!

Take care. xx

A cute little thank you

This was my little thank you for my Stamper's 6 club the other  month.

I had so much fun making this little treat tag.  I used the treat cups and the Chalk Talk Framelits.  The designer series paper is from the beautiful Park Lane set.  I complimented it with Old Olive card stock and this gorgeous Calypso Coral Chevron Ribbon. It makes a little gift amazing.

For the little card I just added some scallop circles and the sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners.

I used skittles in my treat cups but I'm sure you can be very creative with what you fill them with.

Have a great day.  xx

Christmas in a Box

Have you made one of these yet?  They look fantastically complicated but they are not.  You can find a tutorial on the internet.

I demonstrated this at a Stampin' Up! party and it was loads of fun to see everyone's results.  As you can imagine they were all different.  What a bunch of talented ladies!

We used Wondrous Wreath and the matching Framelits in reds and greens with some touches of gold.

Why not have a go!
