A ticket to a Happiest Birthday Wishes

Another one of those last minute cards for a birthday party my son is going to today.  I did think I had one suitable already but couldn't find it this morning.  Must of used it already.  Aaagh!

Never mind Less is More this week is asking us to use masking in some form and so this card evolved.

I made a ribbon banner using one of the stamps from Happiest Birthday Wishes, masking one end to give the tag effect.  I stamped it in Night of Navy and used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig for lining up.  Then masked again and sponged Calypso Coral around the edges.

I stamped a couple of sentiments from Petite Pairs and cut them out.  Then using the 1/2" circle punch I punched out the corners to give the ticket shape.   As the boys are off to the cinema I thought this would be appropriate.  I sponged some Night of Navy around the edges of the tickets.

Happiest Birthday Wishes is a super set in the exclusive hostess section of the catalogue.  There's so many different styles which will suit lots of birthday situations.  If you have a party or place an appropriate order then you can use your hostess pounds to buy this set at a reduced price.  Do this before the end of this month and you could also receive free stamps from Sale-A-Bration.   Or join my Stampers 6 starting April and on your month you will have hostess pounds to spend anywhere in the current catalogues.

Well my son is off to the cinema, full of the cold.  Loaded up with lots of tissues, strepsils and a spoonful of paracetamol.  Do you think he'll be ok?
