Misty Hills

My goodness how strange!  I have just made a card for a challenge which uses tearing paper to create hillsides.  And guess what the challenge this week at Less is More is.....Tearing!  So unfortunately I can't show you the card I made for the other challenge but if you come back tomorrow you will see it.

So with hillsides on my mind, I've created a misty scene using three Stampin' Up! inks - Wisteria Wonder in the background, Perfect Plum in the middle and Elegant Eggplant in the foreground.  Each of the colours was applied using my Brayer and then the edges sponged in that particular colour.  Up up and Away supplied the birds and they were stamped in Elegant Eggplant.  The panel was then mounted onto and Elegant Eggplant mat and attached to a Whisper White card base.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and is also stamped in Elegant Eggplant.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig for positioning.  Which is one of my must have tools!

I love those birds from Up Up and Away.  This is one of those stamp sets that you can use all together or the individual elements.  It's so versatile and has cute sentiments too.

You could earn this set for free as part of my Stampers 6 when it's your hostess.  Have a look at my Virtual hostess Page now as there are limited places left for the new club starting in October.
I'm very pleased with my end result and think this makes a great masculine card.

Thanks for your visit today.  I really appreciate it.  x
